1946 – 1949 Studied at the Michaelis School of Art Life – Drawing and sculpture under Professor
Edward Roworth and Ivan Mitford – Barberton
Lived in Cape Town from 1946 and gave sculpture lessons from 1951 – 1958.
Became a member of the Art Association SWA / Namibia in 1967
Returned to Namibia 1974
The private tuition of Adolph Jentsch had a strong influence on Ursula Bergmann, but she developed
nevertheless her own style in her landscapes. Her style can be described as naturalistic with a touch
of romance.
