Profile:

Apprenticeship 1968 – 1970 as marine electrician in Warnemünde. Graduated 1975 – 1977 at the Community College in Rostock.

His artistic training started with a circle in painting and graphics at House of Culture Warnowerft, Rostock, under mentor Karlheinz Kuhn  1979 – 1983. 1981 – 1983 tuition under Alfred Heth, Wismar. Studied 1983- 1986 at the College of Applied Arts in Heiligendamm under Professor Heinz Wodzicka and Professor Fritz Eisel. Advanced studies from 1987 – 1993 at the University of Arts and Design, Castel Giebichenstein, Halle, Germany.

Member of the artist group „ Schlot 1 „
